Pay: $55K - $75K per year

Shift: 8a-5p | Mon-Fri

Staff Accountant description:

• Pay invoices by verifying transaction information, scheduling, preparing disbursements, and obtaining authorization of payment
• Collect revenue by reminding delinquent accounts and notifying customers of insufficient payments
• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
• Maintain accounting ledgers by posting account transactions
• Verify accounts by reconciling statements and transactions
• Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments and adjustments
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and receiving reports, validating purchase/expense, and performing payment
• Reconcile payables to purchase orders and fixing errors
• Process and enter all vendor bills/invoices
• Setup new vendor accounts and reconcile accounts to ensure timely bill posting
• Assist with month end close duties
• Run daily reports
• Apply credits and unapplied payments to vendors
• Owns the overall Accounts Payable process
• Process bi-weekly payroll using Paylocity
• Make recommendations for viable departmental improvements
• 2 years prior experience as an Accounts Payable Associate
• 1 year prior experience with full cycle Accounting duties
• Basic to Intermediate level of experience within SAP, Sage Intacct, and/or MS NAV Dynamics
• High-level proficiency with MS Office, namely Excel
