Shipping Clerk / Finishing Operator

Location: Canton, GA 30114
Pay: $18.36 per hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire, Full-Time
Shift: 1st Shift | Mon-Fri | 7:30am–4:00pm | Some Saturdays Required

Shipping Clerk / Finishing Operator Description:

• Coordinate outbound shipments and schedule trucks/carriers
• Create and manage Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipping documentation
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment
• Utilize ERP and shipping systems to track orders and shipments
• Support finishing operations and production activities as needed
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy before shipment
• Maintain organized shipping, receiving, and production areas
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse personnel, and production teams
• Assist with inventory movement and material handling
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

• Previous shipping clerk or logistics experience required
• Experience scheduling trucks and handling BOLs is required
• Forklift experience required
• ERP and shipping software experience preferred
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed
