Job Title: Fabricator
Location: Jasper, Ga 30134
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire, Full-Time
Shift: 1st | Mon-Fri |6:00am-4:30pm

Position Summary (major areas of contribution):
To operate all tools and machinery in the metal finishing department to dress all types of materials with the desired surface finish as required.
Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:
- Identify finishing requirements of sheet metal parts arriving in this department
- Safely operate all metal finishing equipment and tools to achieve the proper finish with a minimum of effort
- With the use of this equipment, dress the materials by removing welding beads, burrs, or imperfections
- Check all work for proper level or radius
- Must keep work area clean and orderly at all times
- Other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications / Skills:
- High school graduate with mechanical ability
- Mechanical ability to operate all tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to visually identify imperfections in metal surfaces and determine method of removing the imperfections
