Job Title: Driver-Non CDL
Location: Jasper, GA
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Job Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time
Looking for a hands-on career where no two days are the same? Join a growing restoration team and help homeowners and businesses recover from water damage while building valuable skills in restoration and remediation.
Driver-Non CDL Description:
- Drive company vehicles to residential and commercial job sites throughout North Georgia.
- Respond to water damage, flood, storm, and emergency restoration calls.
- Extract standing water using specialized equipment and restoration tools.
- Set up and monitor air movers, dehumidifiers, drying systems, and moisture detection equipment.
- Perform demolition of damaged materials including drywall, flooring, insulation, and other building materials as needed.
- Document job progress, moisture readings, equipment placement, and job site activities.
- Load, unload, transport, and maintain restoration equipment and supplies.
- Communicate professionally with customers, property owners, insurance representatives, and team members.
- Complete daily paperwork, job documentation, and electronic reports.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean working condition.
- Follow all company safety policies and industry standards.
- Assist with mold remediation, cleanup, and reconstruction support projects as needed.
- Participate in after-hours emergency response and on-call rotations.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Must possess a valid DOT Medical Card or be able to obtain one upon hire.
- Must meet DOT physical requirements and maintain eligibility to operate company vehicles.
- Ability to drive company trucks and restoration vehicles safely.
- Previous construction, restoration, demolition, landscaping, maintenance, or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working in residential, commercial, and disaster recovery environments.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, overtime, and emergency call-outs when required.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a team.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
