Human Resources Payroll Specialist Description:

• Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now

• Ensure accurate wage, deduction, overtime, and bonus calculations

• Maintain employee data across HR, payroll, and accounting systems

• Enter and maintain employee tax status, schedules, and deduction records

• Handle employment verifications, garnishments, and unemployment notices

• Prepare payroll-related reports, including 401K testing and compliance docs

• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies

• Support year-end processes: W-2s, 1095-Cs, audits, and reporting

• Onboard new hires into payroll systems; conduct orientation and training

• Maintain I-9 files, key card access, bulletin boards, and security systems

• Conduct monthly benefits audits

• Serve as a point of contact for employee HR/payroll questions

• Assist with hourly recruiting as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma

• 3+ years of experience in Payroll and HR

• ADP Time & Attendance and Benefits experience

• ADP training completed (payroll processing & time management)

• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, labor compliance, and confidentiality

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
