Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Canton, GA 30114
Pay: $19-$20 per hour based on experience
Job Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time
Shift: 3rd | Mon–Fri | 11pm-7:30am

Description:
The position is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance activities, handling all preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on industrial machinery and production equipment. The candidate will also perform a variety of duties related to building maintenance and upkeep.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Vocational training or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial maintenance.
- Acute attention to detail and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Experience reading mechanical / electrical blueprints and shop sketches.
- Experience in carpentry, fabrication, welding and pipe fitting.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and water cooling systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership and team skills.
- Knowledge of Electricity and Electrical Applications.
- Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls.
- Knowledge of Plumbing and Pipefitting.
- Knowledge of Welding.
- Machine Tool Practices.
- Use of good housekeeping practices.
- Follow all safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Machinery installation, maintenance, service, repair and overhaul.
- Troubleshooting motors and controls.
- Preventative Maintenance.
- Building Maintenance.
- Working with systems including but not limited to pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, chillers, metal stamping and forming machines, injection molding machines and other industrial production equipment.
- Provides direction to outside contractors when applicable.
- Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operational efficiency and safety.
