Job Title: Assistant Property Manager – Commercial Real Estate
Location: Atlanta, GA 30309
Pay: $33.00 per hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire, Full-Time
Shift: 1st | Mon-Fri | 8:00am-5:00pm

Assistant Property Manager – Commercial Real Estate Description:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants, responding to service requests and resolving issues in coordination with maintenance and engineering teams

  • Maintain strong tenant relationships to drive high retention and satisfaction

  • Assist with budgeting, capital planning, variance reporting, and financial forecasting

  • Support preparation of monthly owner reporting packages and financial statements

  • Oversee rent collection (accounts receivable) and assist with notices and documentation related to delinquencies

  • Coordinate operating expense recoveries, including pre-bills and reconciliations

  • Review and approve invoices and purchase orders within property accounting systems

  • Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, bid processes, and contract renewals

  • Collect and track vendor Certificates of Insurance and ensure compliance

  • Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, including property walkthroughs

  • Conduct regular property inspections and recommend maintenance or improvements

  • Assist with emergency response procedures, evacuation drills, and after-hours property needs when required

  • Monitor parking management, billing, and related agreements

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, administrative, and property teams

  • Participate in community engagement initiatives and industry programs

  • Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned

  • Commercial property management experience required

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting

  • Familiarity with commercial real estate software systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent communication and tenant-facing customer service skills

  • Ability to walk properties, conduct inspections, and lift up to 25 pounds

  • Minimal travel (up to 5%)
