Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector – Automotive Manufacturing
Location: Canton, GA
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Job Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time
Shift: 1st | Mon–Fri | 7:00am–4:00pm

Quality Assurance Inspector – Automotive Manufacturing Description:

• Perform in-process and final inspections of molded automotive components

• Use precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product dimensions and quality

• Read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and quality standards

• Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality/production records

• Identify defects and alert quality or production leadership

• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions

• Follow safety, quality, and production procedures

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience in quality inspection or manufacturing quality control

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and inspection documentation

• Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and gauges

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs

• Dependable with strong attendance; thrives in fast-paced production settings

Preferred Qualifications:

• Automotive manufacturing experience

• Familiarity with ISO/TS quality standards

• Knowledge of SPC, PPAP, or control plans (a plus, not required)

• Basic understanding of defect types and classifications
