Our client, a Commercial Real Estate Development company in the downtown Atlanta area, is looking for an HR Generalist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role as the company is trying to automate HR systems and processes. They need a seasoned professional to get all HR processes in compliance and implement procedures as well as source new vendors to bring them up to date with technology.

* Free parking at their downtown Atlanta office

The HR Generalist will:
  • Support HR Activities though employee life cycle
    • Sourcing & Coordinating Interviews
    • Background checks
    • Onboarding & Off boarding
  • Create and send offer letters
  • Record retention knowledge will need to audit/clean up current HR files
  • Maintain compliance on all HR related files and activities
  • Assist the Payroll Manager as needed to be backup
  • Manage job openings and job boards
  • Other HR administrative duties as needed

HR Generalist Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years experience as a HR Generalist
  • Experience with and HR department start up a huge plus
  • Must be self-directed and ability to work autonomously
  • Payroll experience using ADP Workforce NOW (preferred)
  • Well-spoken and friendly phone presence
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, with strong Excel knowledge
  • Ability to be adaptable as business continues to grow
