Job Title: Construction Project Analyst
Location: Alpharetta, GA 30009
Pay: $40.00–$45.00 per hour
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time
Shift: 1st | Mon–Fri | 8am–5pm

Construction Project Analyst Description:
Duties and Requirements:
Provide project and administrative support for renovations and new construction projects
Manage large, multi-project construction budgets and update forecasts as bids and proposals are received
Collaborate with project managers to track financial performance and keep budgets on target
Process and track high volumes of construction invoices using internal accounting tools
Use project management platforms to track contracts, pay applications, and reporting
Work directly with contractors and vendors to collect quotes, negotiate payment terms, and manage compliance documents (W-9s, COIs, lien waivers)
Prepare lender draw requests and ensure all required documents are submitted correctly
Assist with contract creation, change order tracking, and execution
Reclass Construction in Progress (CIP) entries into fixed assets upon project completion
Ensure adherence to sales and use tax compliance across states
Generate monthly reports for internal stakeholders and external lenders
Forecast capital reserves and track fund balances using M3 and Profit Sword
Assist with audits, depreciation reporting, and general ledger support
Join cross-functional meetings and share project updates with key teams
Perform ad hoc reporting and financial analysis as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (required)
Prior experience in construction project environments is required
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project budgets and timelines
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting/project software (e.g., M3, Concur, Profit Sword)
Excellent communication, coordination, and time management skills
Ability to read and interpret financial and construction documents
