We are seeking an experienced professional with a passion for detail and compliance to manage and close commercial loan packages efficiently.

Commercial Loan Closing Specialist Description:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Loan Officers to update loan data and assemble required documentation.
• Oversee all activities related to processing commercial loans, SBA loans, and participations.
• Prepare and deliver accurate, compliant loan packages ahead of closings.
• Review collateral and business documents to ensure compliance and security for the bank.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding loan closings and documentation requirements.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of appraisals, title work, flood determinations, and other relevant areas.
• Stay current with regulatory changes, internal policies, and lending procedures.
• Prepare reports and maintain comprehensive records for quality control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 5-7 years of experience in commercial lending, including SBA and participation loans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with strong general office skills.
• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
• Skilled in conflict resolution and professional communication.
